65 GMC questions.
I asked on the 60-66 board, but should of came here maybe.
65 GMC short/fleet I was thinking I want to go low static for now. Is a stepped LCA and drop springs a good option? Where's the best place to find those? Any idea of the drop I can expect? Seems like a cheaper solution than disc/drop spindles. Can I use stock Upper CA if I buy stepped lowers? I'm not so familair with these. And the rear is leaf. Looked at a flip kit on Stylintrucks for 150 bucks. Any good or bad about that? Opinions about any of this? I'm limited on how much I can spend, so bags are out for awhile. I just really want it pretty low without major surgery. So as low as I can go without really tearing into it. Thanks

Re: 65 GMC questions.
Im not sure on the front suspension, but in the back you could take some leafs out of the springs and get you low. also trim the bump stop. which would be free, and leave you some extra money for the front.

Re: 65 GMC questions.
Stepped arms are OK, but the better option is dropped spindles. I don't think anyone sells a stepped arm anymore- would have to be a custom deal. DJM has dropped spring poclet arms, but again, I would just use spindles.
A flip kit out back will give you 5.5-6" of drop. You can find them cheaper than Stylin'- check out summitracing.com. They have the cheapest front drop springs too. I would do a 2.5" spindle/ 2" springs up front and the flip kit out back.
