Battery Question Top or Side Mount

Anybody out there know what is correct for a 71 Chevy Super Cheyenne, October built if that would matter. Should it be a Top Post Battery or Side mount?

Thanks, I thought it was side post because I have a 72 blazer side post. But was not sure about 71.

Yep. I think they did it in all GMs in 71, but I am unsure of this. I DO know the light duty trucks did chainge for the 71 model run.
