Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Excellent post! I'm actually looking for the same information. I just got some Boss 338's and am looking for the best tire size on a 2.5\4 drop.

Scoti what brand tire to you recommend. Not looking to send to much coin and the truck in not a DD but do want decent performance.

Thanks,

Thanks,
You so have to post pics. I just found these the other day and I am so wanting a set with grey centers and knock offs.

What size did you get and are the offsets correct for 67-72 trucks?

Re: can i get some tire assistance please (sizing)

I actually get this question a lot from the guy I work with. Here is the formula for a given tire size of 275/60/15

((275/25.4)*.60*2+15)

Re: can i get some tire assistance please (sizing)

Price wise the Falken line seems to offer many sizes @ a decent cost. For me personally, the only thing that matters is the size. I will pay more for the exact size I want vs. getting a cheaper tire that's not the right fit.

I have used & like: BFG's, Dunlop SP9000's, Toyos, Michelins, & Eagles.
