complete kick panel replacement

i want to replace the complete driver side kick panel from the floor to the top where it curves over to thre right. i have a doner piece from another cab. i'm wondering if their is any thing i should be worried about when i remove the damaged (RUSTED) ORIGINAL. i will be replacing the very lower kick panel with a new 7" piece you can order.any help would be appreciated, thanks, billt

Mine is rusted out at the bottom all the way across. I can lift the door and watch the kick panel move. It's also rusted above the vent.
