header question again

ok i know this question has prabably been asked a million times but here it is again. ok what is a good header to buy for a small block with a manual transmission? i have hedman in there now but when i put them in there a while back i had to bend the rear primary to get past the z-bar. there kinda bent now though..i ran over a curb playin around at my school oh and one more question which is really off the wall but do yall know of any header that would cross over above the frame and point back but on the outside of the frame instead of the inside. i dont have any inner fender wells and it would kinda be cool to mound the exhaust on the outside of the frame. well thanks for the help.

I've got Hedmans on my '69 and like them. Hooker makes some nice headers also. As far as headers that exhit above and outside the frame, you're looking at having custom headers build. Which shouldn't been too big of a problem for a good, local exhaust shop, it'll just cause you some bucks.
