dash and gear indicator numbers, t remove??
what can I do to get them off? I'm paintin up a dash and I wanna get the numbers off, doing it a little differnt. justcan't scratch them off or I'll scratch it all... If I can get a little help I'll show ya all thefinished product in a few days. I think it'll turn out great!

i just used a pocket knife on mine, if your careful enough it wont hurt it

I was using a swril remover to clean up the scratches on a old lense to see if it would remove the scratches that it did but also takes the numbers off too!

Ideas? I've had no luk scraping it without scratcing, the green o the oppisite side of the lens came of with laquer thiner, but that proved to leave streeks, like scratches, in the plastic...
so anyone?

I hear some ppl use polish...like mothers polish or somehting and a little elbow grease.

yep .... like 'Horn Dawg said .... Mother's polish ... i use it to remove the graphics on Hot Wheels cars ... same process as the shifter indicators ... its called a "tampo." Kinda like silk screenin.
