Power Performance Motorsports Ball Joints, Idler Arms, Pitman Arms, and Tie Rod Ends

Hi everyone,

We are glad to be new vendors on the forum! Power Performance Motorsports has a line of 1700 EXTREME DUTY ball joints, idler arms, pitman arms, tie rod ends, rack ends center links, and adjusting sleeves. We carry a full line of steering linkage and ball joints for 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 ton Chevy/GMC trucks. Our website is undergoing development, so most of our parts are listed by a MOOG reference # - if you have another vehicle that you need parts for, shoot us a PM or email and we'll look it up for you. We have parts for almost every car and truck.

PPM's EXTREME DUTY ball joints feature forged SAE1045 steel housings vs. competitors stamped steel, yielding a 60% stronger part on average. Ball studs are a heat treated, SAE4140 steel for omnidirectional strength. Many of our ball joints have an extra 1-2 degrees of travel for improved operation on lowered vehicles, and most have a ring-retained, accordion-style CR rubber boot. This prevents the boot from coming off, a common problem that results in premature failure. Many of the lower ball joints have a knurled, press fit diameter to grip both fresh and worn control arms.

Our line of steering linkage features improved bearing and boot designs for better strength and wear characteristics.

We are so confident in our parts that we back each one by a 1,000,000 mile warranty against manufacturing defects.

Best of all, we are very price competitive - you will almost always find that we are the cheapest source. Instead of 5 levels of distribution (each with their own markup!), a fleet of private jets, and big corporate expense accounts, we spend our money on top quality materials to produce the best possible part for a reasonable price.

We supply ***************** with all of their ball joints - so any of you who buy their control arms are already getting our top quality ball joints. Our ball joints are also used in the SSC Ultimate Aero (www.shelbysupercars.com), currently the Guinness World Record holder for World's Fastest Production Car at 256.15 MPH (tested on a public road!).

All of our Chevy and GMC 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 ton parts can be found here:

Here are some pictures of a few parts we offer (see website for all pictures):

71-72 Chevy 1/2 Ton EXTREME DUTY Upper Ball Joint

71-86 Chevy 1/2 Ton EXTREME DUTY Lower Ball Joint (note the knurling to accommodate worn control arms)

71-86 Chevy 1 Ton EXTREME DUTY Upper Ball Joint

73-86 Chevy Truck EXTREME DUTY Inner Tie Rod End

67-82 Chevy Truck EXTREME DUTY Idler Arm

Thanks for reading our introduction! Please contact us if you have any questions.

Wellcome to the form. I've actually been talking to someone on email about a complete steering linkage kit for my 2wd 1/2 ton 86. Will you be offering a discount to forum members?

Welcome to the forum.

Have any suspension conversions from 3/4 ton to 1/2 ton?

Will check out your website.
