howdy ya'll
havent been around much since i had to get rid of all my trucks and other junk.. hope ya''ll had a good xmas and new years... well i had to finaly go back to work.. not my first choice but was fixing to lose the house.. so back to work i went.. we wont talk about what im doing, kinda embarrasing at my age to be doing it.. but anyway. i figure in the next few months i should have some bills about cuaght up.. so already thinking of what i need next..hmmmmm since i had to sell all my trucks, and am stuck driving a nisan altima, even if it was a screaming deal, i miss my big block.. hell i miss my truck... so i figure its time to start thinking on a another crew cab dually...anythign from 76 to 86 is god for me.. now to find one that has little to no rust.. and the required big block... yeah and its staying lwb... hopefuy can find one that is in half way decent shape for not to much, but i know hwo much they usualy go for...but im tired of not finsihing any projects or really even gettign the one i realy want.. so will keep ya'll updated, am willign to travel some to get a good one..lol.. oh yeah, hopefuly find a
so heres to a great new year.. finaly back to work after 2 yrs.. even if it does kill mee..lol

Local Craig's list, E-bay, or the classified ads here, is about all anyone can tell you here, because you are not permitted to actually ask the members for what they have to sell.

Wow sorry to hear you had to seel the truck before getting it back drivable. I liked how yours had the sleeper on it too. My advice would be to hold out save up and find what u really want. I went threw aq few before getting the 84. It is worth the road trip to not have to deal with the rust bug. Local is best but sometimes you just can't find what you want local and for the right price.
Also these trucks because of how big they are and the gas millage of the 454 and the weight it pulls often sell for good prices. Good luck with the job and future search. Did the old dually find a good home?

yeah i kept the sleeeper.. i knew i wouldnt be able to find another one.. so i kept it and its in a safe place....it will definatly be on the next one to..unfortunaly i couldnt even give it away so it went to the scrapper.. i did sell a few parts off of it, but not many.. i hated to see it go that route.. but i needed th emoney to pay bills the ol lady wasnt paying...
