I can now officially be here
I joined a while ago and stated that I was looking and dreaming of a truck to buy and play with somewhere down the line. I love these trucks and have wanted one for a while. I am now the owner of a 1970 LWB C20. I will add pics to this post when I get some (unless someone can tell me if they go in a different part of the forum). It needs a rocker on the drivers side and cab corner, some other misc things as well. I picked it up off a guy after seeing it in his yard dormant for a few months. I got it for $400! and the odometer reads 29,635 miles.
My plans are to lower it and pump up the power for a summer toy, I might do that first and leave the body in the "in progress" state because that look is growing on me. Pics to come |

Re: I can now officially be here
You can place your pictures on picturetrail.com, it's a free site, then you can go to the URL tab on their site. Cut and paste here for forum URL and there you have it. It's very easy once you get the hang of it.
Welcome to the forums from Colorado!! Dan

got to take some pics of it today, it's kind of a diamond in the rough but a solid start. Plus, for $400 couldn't beat it

Rockers/Doors
Inside/Under hood I dunno if that is origional or not, I would kinda hope at 40 it's rolled over once mostly everything is there inside, needs a new seat and dash pad. Plans are for buckets later on The silver button above the ignition is a home rigged push start wired to the starter... yikes. 350 with some home made heater hoses... ewie |

Re: I can now officially be here
If you got that for $400, you stole it.
I have seen pictures (although nothing in person) of Tremclad (I believe that is Rustoleum down here) paint jobs. And honestly, in the pics they didn't look too bad. And yeah, before anybody dumps on me, I know the pictures lie!

Re: I can now officially be here
Still gives me goose bumps, Thanks for the pics. Looks well worth the $400. Take your time and think things through. My first truck dissolved in a hurry cause I was gunna replace this and get a new that - you get the deal. After throwing away and giving away and selling, I had nothing left.
