Re: N2BILLET!!! Project Swingset

he's not advertising n2billet he's adviertising a couple o' trucks. says he simply likes the n2billet rendering photo so he uses it for inspiration...why he chose to post it in a 4 sale ad, is kinda wierd. I don't think it's keith though!

Re: N2BILLET!!! Project Swingset

It's on here to for sale.
Just looked at the add on E-bay. He clearly states that's not the truck for sale just a nice picture of what he thought his would turn out like if he finished it.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: N2BILLET!!! Project Swingset

I saw the ad the person is actually giving a compliment to the rendering stating is what inspired him to build a c10 the only issue I see is that his truck is a long bed and would not look even close to the rendering unless he converted it.

Compliment or not he should get permission before using an image that belongs to someone else.

Re: N2BILLET!!! Project Swingset

Any picture that is on the net that is not protected or states not to reproduce is fare game for anyone to use. We do it all the time on here when someone wants a picture of something.
He didn't in anyway make referance to it being his picture so what is the problem?
If it's not to be used other than for yourself protect it.

Re: N2BILLET!!! Project Swingset

I agree to a certain point to your statement but the difference (in my eyes) between the pictures that are lifted from other sources are free, where as I paid to have the rendering done that was used without my permission or consent but you have brought up a very valid point and from this day forward I will keep all my pictures and renderings for my personal use.....

Just for the record even the guy that created the rendering ask me if he can use it to show other clients.....I think they call it common courtesy.

Not true!

There are only a couple of ways to "protect" your images online, right click disable and masking the image. Either way you can still get the image, but that doesn't make it ok to use it.

Re: N2BILLET!!! Project Swingset

I agree common courtesy is always the best, but if it's on the net it is for everyones use. That's part of the net. It's like everything else some do some don't.
If a picture is protected or has the statement then that's another story. I could understand being pissed!

HoupPhotography,
Thanks I never knew that. I have wanted to use a picture before that was protected and couldn't figure out how to get it, thanks! Just Kidding!

See there are way's of doing things and if you ask people over the net they are very helpfull.
