Post WTB: 3/4 to 1/2 ton Suspension kiet

Conversion for my 1967 chevy p/u. I need disc brakes for the front, rotors 2.5" lowering spindles with 5 lug 5 on 5?

I know the going rate is about $269.99 for the pair of spindles either stock or drop. Hoping to find them cheaper than this price.

But as far as other components I need I am lost. Someone said the lower control arm would have to be changed out to the 1/2 unit. Which sells for about $200 for the set. This may or may not be necessary as I have no clue what all is involved on the conversion.

Would like to think it would be a simple drum to disc brake conversion would just be bolt on installation. Now the brakes with 5 lug pattern; going to buy the under dash kit from Scott's Hotrods. That include the pedal assembly, power booster & master cylinder (and hopefully prop. valve).

So what sources do you guys have for either New or barely used parts that would make this happen for me?

Thanks!
