If you want to stay 6-lug the best way is to buy a kit. When you factor in that you don't need to find and buy a 5-lug rearend or 5 lug wheels the price ani't that bad. Here's one.

Or you could do everything the way everyone else has been doing it, with a parts truck or from the junk yard, then get the 6 lug rototrs from GMC Paul.

I think you would lose on that deal. The kit with every thing you need is $449.90 and it has every thing new in a box. you can even get dropped spindels for the same price. The 6 lug rotors and cailipers are $219.95. Now you have to go buy a bunch of stuff at a junkyard. Probably not much chance of saving a hundred bucks after it's all said and done.
Just my 2 cents.

other options are available too, evne if they dont directly tie in: 6 lug shafts from 70-72 4x4 12 bolt are same length as 70-72 2wd shafts., can make spacer to go in behind brake backing plate on 64-69 axles to be able to use 70-up shafts

good luck.,
