new wheels coming...

New wheels are on the way, might be here saturday im hoping...just rims not tires...15 x 8's with 4" backspace...$250 bucks from summit, including shipping. i think it's a good deal...do you? picture these on my 82 from my avatar...i cant wait...

They will look good. My friend has similar wheels on his '78. His is flat black with a 4/6 drop. His wheels have a red stripe on them. They are definetly cool!

thanks dude...im stoked...after the wheels im ordering 3" dropped spindles...and doing a homemade flipkit...then maybe a bigger front sway bar and a rear sway bar kit... *****in'

I'll see if he has pics. It had flames on the hood (spraybomb) over a flat black paint job. It looked good to me, rat rod style.

...Finally, they're on the truck! And the best part was...i mounted and balanced them myself in my Auto Tech II class (by the way the tires are 235/70/r15's..same tires that i had on my steelies)...man oh man, they really change the theme for that truck. And it's exactly what im goin' for, which is, "if there was an 80's model NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series truck, this is what it would look like".

Now that my new wheels are on my truck...i need to lower it some more...like 2-3 more inches all around...

what do you think?
