SBC/Straight 6 Flywheel
Will the flywheel from an SBC fit a Straight Six?

Re: SBC/Straight 6 Flywheel
Depend on the SBC and the inline 6
All pre 1987 SBC engines except 400 ci flywheels will fit all inline engine except the 292. The 292 uses larger flywheel blots. You can drill the SBC bolt holes larger and use it then. In 87, SBCs went to 1 piece rear main seals which use a different flywheel. 400 ci SBC engines use their own flywheel that doesn't interchange to other SBCs or inline 6s at all.
