68 292 Runner
68 292 with 155-135 psi compression. Weekly driver! Great runner, still in truck with 4-spd. Comes with everything in the engine compartment, tranny, clutch...heck you can even have the truck and drive it home!!!!!

Mike, are you giving this away??? If so, any chance we could do an engine swap if I drove up sometime??

Re: 68 292 Runner
Brad, Sorry for the confusion...$400 gets you the engine and I will throw in the truck for free. I had a buyer for the engine but he is waiting for his tax return and I am getting "Spring Cleaning" fever...LOL! Brad...it would make a great spare (engine) for your truck!
Dave, The truck is not much...bare bones lwb fleetside, plain jane. It does have a new set of 275x70x15's, front swaybar, after market cassette player (WOW!) but the sheet metal needs lots of work. The redeeming feature is that this thing tracks and drives great on the highway. I drove it home and fell in love with it. I was going to start putting my extra sheet metal on it and use it as a hauler. It was named by "Lamont" by the previous owner after the character in Sanford and Son. I'll post some pics.

Re: 68 292 Runner
(tail between my legs) After a LONG discussion with my wife it has been decided that this is not the right time for me to bring home another truck. I hate to pass on this but I've got to keep peace at home. Thanks, Dave

Re: 68 292 Runner
No worries...it will be here and there is no rush. I will continue to drive it once a week until "Tax Dude" gets his return...LOL!

Re: 68 292 Runner
Thanks for understanding. Don't hold it for me, if you get another buyer, go for it.
