SPID question

I'm looking at buying a 71 Chevy custom camper. On the SPID the first option is B85 Belt Molding. Not sure what that is. Anyone know? Thanks.

Re: SPID question

According to the Red Book, that should be "Body side moulding, upper"
Or, to put into English, the upper trim that runs the length of the truck

Re: SPID question

actually, B85 is the lower molding, the one with black unless CST/Cheyenne & super that would have woodgrain.

Re: SPID question

I think Eljay has that right doesn't he Andy? BX2 is the wide lower molding. First pic is hard to see but the 2nd shows it pretty well.

From the 68 dealer data book,

Custom Sport Truck: Includes bright metal grill, fender and hood scalp moldings, headlight bezels, vent window frames and windshield moldings, control knob trim, pedal trim; chrome front bumper: special CST emblems: vinyl bucket seat with padded center console; carpeting; RH & LH armrests; RH padded sunshade; cigar lighter; special cowl insulation; underbody coating; vinyl door trim.

Hope this helps

Jeff

Re: SPID question

buckets and console only came in 67 with the CST. After that, it was an added cost option.
