Drop a 3/4 ton

I have a 3/4 ton that I would like to lower some. Basically just drop the back down equal to the front. I see these Lowering Coil Springs for 3/4 tons at gmc pauls. Can these simply be swapped out, or is it much more involved ? Any one had any experience using these ? Thanks

Re: Drop a 3/4 ton

if your truck has coil springs in the rear, yes. these can be swapped out rather easily. it's just two bolts holding them in. Anything over 4" though and you will have to get an adjustable track bar, or a relocator kit for it. If it is leafs, the best thing would be to get drop shackles. that or remove a leaf or two.
