GMC Top Bar & Fender Eyebrows
We just received the first samples of the GMC top bar. And the left & right Fender Eyebrows.
The original top bars we have here have the ripples in the metal where the top bar meets the grill in the center. The reproductions are smooth in this area as they should have been from GM. These new top bars look great! The top bar comes with the mounting brackets already on the ends. The fender eyebrows are also as good as or better than the originals. And come with the mounting clips already installed on them. Stamping for regular production begins tomorrow, we expect to have these available for retail sale in approx. 6-8 weeks. Even as a Chevy owner I'm excited for you GMC owners. These are extremely nice quality! These samples are not for sale.

We have not found out our cost yet on the finished product from the manufacturer, but the manufacturer stated that they will try to provide them at a low enough cost that we should be able to retail the top bar for under $100, and the eyebrows should retail for approximately $100 for the pair with installation hardware.
I forgot to mention these will be done in a triple nickel chrome plating.

I am still wondering, can you order the repro grill without the black paint? (aka 67GMC)

The new top bar and eyebrows are 69-72. They won't have the black paint on them. This way they will cover more years, and the owners that want the black, will have to paint the black on them.
I haven't heard anything on the grills being repoed without the black on them, sorry. The Bezels shouldn't be too far off.

Maybe you should send me the "samples" so I can test them in the field for a couple of years. Then we would know the fit AND durablility. Just thought I'd offer my services. Giving one up for the GMC team.
