Grills interchangeable?

Hi... still trying to sort out my build and was hoping someone might confirm what year grills can be interchangeable to others.

I know 67 and 68's are interchangeable but what about 69 thru 72?

There's a nice 'custom 71-72 grill' I was considering for my 69. As far as I can see, fenders, rad support, hood etc are common from 69 thru 72, so why not the grills?

Thanks!!

Re: Grills interchangeable?

if the grille has the correct supports, it will retrofit without any issue.

Re: Grills interchangeable?

I think the hood latches are different and you would need a 71-72 bumper with the turn signals. You would also end up with two bowties one on the hood and one on the grill.Other wise they

Re: Grills interchangeable?

Thanks Guys, I'll be sure to check the hood latches and was planning to put the turn signals behind the grill (assuming its 'legal' in my area)
