What I saw

Had to go to Mt Holly NC this past week for some training for work. I took my camera along just in case I saw some trucks. Well I headed up to my parents house in Conover NC on Monday afternoon once I checked into the motel. I spoted a 68 sitting in the side yard of this house so I turned around to have a look. The guy was home and let me look at it. Said he would let it go for $1800.00 with the pro street wheelss and tires, sorry didn't get pictures but they are the 5 star pro lites. He had them inside the building locked up.
Any way we got started talking and he opened his garage to show me this truck he said was for sale. $18,000.00. 454,auto tilt, electric windows, dual exshaut, A/C but not all of it's hooked up yet. Nice truck.
Here is a couple of pics of both trucks. The primer one is the $1800.00 truck before anybody asks. I have is number and stuff at home I forgot it. I'll post it later when I get home.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

The pro street truck is a long bed. The truck with the hood scoop in the pictures.

That's probably good because I doubt he would take 500.00 for it, it's not my style but I appreciate the work it took....

Re: What I saw

It takes alot of work to chop the top like this. I would agree that if it wasnt a chop top it would look sooo much better. But i'd drive it.

I agree, I love cars, it takes a pretty screwed up ride for me to knock it, I would be interested in seeing some of the critics trucks to compare it to ?

Re: What I saw

I have a buddy who would wet all over himself at the idea of having either one. The more radical and pro street the better as far as he is concerned.

The primered truck looks like a fair deal from here. Pro street hood and trinkets could be easy trading material or sold to pick up the pieces you want.

Personally I like the looks of the chopped one and would love to have it with a quick wheel change. The discount wheels don't do much for it.
