70 Short Step Project Check It Out!!
Hey guys I guess its my turn to start a build thread. I have had my 70 short step for a while bout three years after trading my custom 90 model chevy short step for it. I have always loved these trucks and now I finally got one and Its progress is coming along. Here are just some pics of the frame tranny and motor all put together down in the frame. Its got a o'reilys 350 crate motor and a turbo 350 tranny.

Re: 70 Short Step Project Check It Out!!
Next I added all the pulleys and To the front end of the motor and got the underneath of the cab finished and painted the firewall to match the paint that will one day be on the truck, but for now its going to be put into hot rod flatz black and be pinstripped all over the place.

Hey guys latest installment. Got the bed put on for test fit. We raised the bed floor three inches for the air ride. If you look threw the cross braces you can see where we mounted the gas tank and chrome air tank. And compressor on rear frame rails. Also Got my Billet Accessories Direct 20" Lone Stars.

Re: 70 Short Step Project Check It Out!!
Hey Guys the garage is a buddy of mines across the street. That is his dads dodge that he is building right behind my truck that will have an all aluminum big block in it pushing 1100 hp when its done. Then there is a 70 Plymouth Barracuda in there and its got a 541 in it I believe. Then the black boat in there is an old lincoln of his dads so if you know of anyone looking for one like that let me know. And as far as the paint goes - I have done all the paint work so far. I work at Fort Gibson Auto Refinishing, which it will hopefully be at shop before to long. My boss that owns the shop is on here to he is FTGAUTO. He is a great guy and does amazing work as well you have got to see it to believe it. Hopefully will put some more progress pics up tomorrow or sunday.
