Tightening Tie Rod ends
I had previously loosened up my inner tie rod ends, and now I cant seem to tighten them back up. Once the bolt gets on the threads, the tie rod keeps spinning, preventing it from being tightened. Am I doing something wrong, they are really loose, as in a lot of play, they loosened up fine, maybe its me? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Tightening Tie Rod ends
You have to force the taper to hold the tie rod shaft. Either pry against the rod itself or squeeze it with some large slip-joint type pliers to prevent the spinning. You might also try cleaning up the threads of the stud and the nut so that they spin together easier, this will allow the nut to tighten rather than spinning the stud.

Re: Tightening Tie Rod ends
Coo, I'll try that. I can't get back on it until Monday, but I'll give it a shot.
