New valve covers...

What do you think? I got a set of Holley covers to match the carb. Plus the Edelbrocks were too tall. These things were oxidized bad, but a friend of mine at work did a hell of a job.

Re: New valve covers...

They look cool, but don't you think they would leak less with the hold downs and gorments in place!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: New valve covers...

Will these clear the stock alternator on the drivers side? Is that what was wrong with your taller ones?

Alternator is on passenger side. The Edelbrocks worked, just didn't like the height.

I don't think the tall covers have an issue on the long water pump/ passenger side.
I'm just trying to find my own answer to what will/wont work on stock alternator setups. No high jack intended.
