is 100 psi good for a a.o.l. setup

Looking at a kit for a 78 blazer ,mine is flipped rear and just the 2 main leafs .The kit says not to inflate bags over 100 psi,do you think this is good enough for what I,m doing or go with a better bag

What type of bag is it? I'm running an AOL on my 77 with 2 leaves and a sleeved bag. At ride height, I'm usually running 52-56 psi. With the Blazer having more weight on the rear you might require a bit more.

Don't compromise the integreity of your suspension to "make it work". Just like your brakes, suspension is not a place to cut corners. Do it right now, or regret it for a long time later....

Those look more like helper bags. Do some research and see if they aren't designed to assist in load capacity. Did you price the ART set up?

I have been sick so I haven't spent much time researching on the forum. Let me see if I can get you an answer.

Re: is 100 psi good for a a.o.l. setup

Are you wanting to do an AOL set-up just like Kens 77? A sleeve type bag works well on AOL set-up's where some of the leaf pack has been removed; dbl convoluted bags should be avoided w/this set-up as the ride suffers when used in a 1:1 configuration.

If the airbag is truely just a 'helper' bag, you can get away w/a dbl convoluted style since it won't have much air pressure when not in use.

Re: is 100 psi good for a a.o.l. setup

the pic I showed is a heavy duty helper from pacbrake.I,m trying to do aol with 2 main leaves remaining.I know the blazer is a little heavy. Also with all but the 2 main leaves remaining will it sit much lower than with all the leaves, just a guess so I can compinsate for adding a lowering block so it will sit in the notched frame when aired out, hope that is all, thanks for your time
