Story starts out Sat morning looking in the classifieds and bam up pops this short step 69' GMC call the guy from way down central IN he says yea it just needs a motor and trans so I hook up the trailer to go have a look I get there and trust me it is far from anything I would put a motor and trans in put we talk for a bit and strike a deal.

Once back home and unloaded I go back to the classifieds to see yet another 69' short step this one a Chevy though. SO I call the guy see whats doing with it and he is only about 20 miles from me so back in the truck (trailer still hooked up) and off we go. Get to his house and he has a 60' Chevy on a 4X4 frame on 36's 82' short step 4X4 with a plow on it and a in the process copped 32 coupe in the drive. He comes out and says that the truck is at his EX wifes towing company so I follow him about a mile up the road to pull in the back lot and see this blue chevy sitting in the very back row (with about 12" of snow on it) and say to the wife grabe my gloves. I walk back to it and begin cleaning out the bed to see the floor has been replaced with a piece of sheet metal but other wise really really solid. Cab was in good shape needs basics rockers and corners but the supports are darn near mint. So after about 45 mins of BSen we strike up a price and the fun begins getting it out of the yard in 12" of snow. Drug it up to the shop aired up the tires and pushed it on the trailer. I needed a few parts for my own truck so I figured I'd pick the first one up for a couple parts and sell off what ever anyone else needed. Then when the blue one came up I am still in need of a good driver side bedside for my truck and this one had it along with alot of other really nice parts.
