Grant steering wheel Question.....

For those who have put one of these on.How hard should I have to push to get the new hub on the spline shaft.Mine doesn't want to go all the way to sit flush with plastic canceling cam and leave me enough thread left to tighten everything down tight and not have a huge gap.I'm getting about half of the spline to seat in the hub.

IIRC, mine slides on pretty easily.

Re: Grant steering wheel Question.....

Thanks guys,I think I'll get another kit.Maybe I have dud for a hub.It just seems too tight and will not go on all the way.I expected to be able to just slide it on with my thumbs. Can't get it down to the canceling cam thus having no thread too put the nut back on.

Re: Grant steering wheel Question.....

Installed one last week and had to push on it a little to get enough threads to pull it the rest of the way down.
