How Rare Is This CL Find?

Far as I know they were never made from GM. IT looks like a nice truck, but not factory.

that is made on a longhorn chassis though... makes me want to daulli-fy mine. |

Even if they did make duallies in 71, I don't think they would use 73-87 fenders on them.

I can't find a one ton 4x4 option (K30) in the 1968 GM Restoration Guide.
That thing looks like it has '73-'87 stepside fender extensions. I have seen some with the extensions made from '67-'72 stepside fenders which I like a little better. I do like the idea of a one ton dually 4x4 Longhorn though...LOL!

...and maybe the pics don't do the truck justice, but unless that's a helluva truck (mucho $$ spent on axles, suspension, brakes), I wonder why they think they'll get 6K? I think the only one buying something like that is someone that would use it as a truck, and that person would do better getting a factory 4x4 dually (later years), right? I'd pay decent money for a factory ride in that shape, but not that rig.
Yeah, it's unique, I guess...
