Question ECE Motor Mounts + Gen III = ???? Headers

OK, I have searched , but want to know if there is anyone with ECE mounts, 6.0L motor (or other models) that are running headers? I was looking for specific brands.

I know the factory mani's will fit with trimming, but I am going to run headers while I sort the swap/suspension out before going to twin turbos. I see '99-'02 f-body headers seem to work, but I was looking for someone with the same setup as me with actual hands-on experience!

Thanks in advance!
S.C.

I tried installing the factory manifolds but I ended up with F-body manifolds and minor trimming.

You used the '99-'02 factory manifolds?

How about a pair of Doug's headers, made for our trucks and work with the ECE mounts. I just ordered a set for myself!

Those are beautiful. I had a set on my last truck (2004 Silverado with 6.0) and they were fantastic.

Honestly, I was looking at the f-body headers because I can probably find used sets for half what those cost. NOT that the Thorleys aren't worth it, they are worth every penny. Just more pennies than I want to spend for something temporary.

That was my same problem, I just want cheap headers until I do some forced induction. The Thorley headers are very nice, but not disposable. I am using F body headers off ebay.

I saw that. You picked up those stainless ones for about $180? You haven't tried to fit them yet, have you?
