I am wondering what the differences between First Gen Regular Blazer and a CST Blazer are?
(I know body trim and badging)

Thanks for any help.

Re: Stupid Question I am sure but!!

I don't know all of the differences but here are a few. CST- carpeting Regular-rubber matting CST- Tow hooks Regular- No tow hooks CST- cloth seats Regular- Vinyl seats I know there are many more but that is all I can think of as of now. Also the CST had the badge on the door and the lower chrome belt. Regular blazers could have also had the lower chrome belt as an option, but that alone would not have made them CST's.

Re: Stupid Question I am sure but!!

Welcome from Philly...Chrome vent windows and shifters, side marker were delux w/SS rectangles. Door panels and seats got scroll work. Probably dash knobs, too
s/b on the SPID
Didn't know about the tow hooks

tow hooks and cloth seats are not part of the cst package.

Re: Stupid Question I am sure but!!

Well shows what I know. I too would like to know what all the CST came with, versus regular blazers.

Re: Stupid Question I am sure but!!

All I really know is that I'm off work. feet are sore and I am ready for a beer......mmmmmm.......beer.

My blazer has CST badges and has with vinyl seats(that are tore up!), it has a rubber floor mat in the back and I think it has tow hooks,

Re: Stupid Question I am sure but!!

going back aways. but i'll try. chevy cst, jimmy custom. Same package. scrolled seats, wood inlayed door panels, rear side panels, carpets, chrome sticks, wood inlayed lower side moldings, and tail gate trim. console. don't remember if the ouside chrome mirrors came with it, or i ordered them seperate. You could order the lower trim, but it was painted black in the middle instead of wood. without the custom package. Somewhere i've got my order sheet, if i ever find it, i'll post it. Also the passenger seat may have come with the package, don't really remember. now i'm talking 72's. don't know about the earlier ones.they were pretty bare bones if you didn't order it extra. no top, just a drivers seat etc. Also another little tidbit you might find interesting. You can tell if it was special ordered by the radio antenna. All the ones sent to dealers were without radios. and when the dealer installed the radio if the buyer wanted one. they put a telescoping antenna on it. If it was special ordered with a radio, the factory installed the radio, and used a single stainless rod for the antenna. if you orderd a/c tinted windows came with it. sorry this is so long, but tha t's what i remember. almost forgot, as stated earlier, the side marker lights were different. Had little chrome trim on them. Also chrome bumpers were part of the package.
