91 silverado no air volume on defrost
I have a 91 Silverado which i just changed the heater motor in. There is not much air volume coming out of the defrost vents. Heater motor is blowing strong and the air volume is very week. Checked the control door actuator and it is moving freely and has good travel. Any ideas? Thanks

Re: 91 silverado no air volume on defrost
is there a hole anywhere in the heater box...recently replaced the heater core in my '94 and broke the access cover....it had a hole about the size of a silver dollar in it and that made a HUGE difference in the air flow of the heater. you could also check to make sure that you don't have a bunch of leaves, snow, or ice on the cowl vent because that is where the air intake for heater is localed...
