Re: how rare are the 68 big block trucks?

I am going to guess that only about 10% of our trucks had BB's.

I didn't even know they had BBC's in 67 and 68. Is it a 396?

Big block started in 68 for Chevy. Don't have my red book but that book will give a % of 68 trucks that came with big block.

If I remember my facts...In 1970 only about 5% of the trucks came with a BB.

I have a 1968 50th Anniversary big block Longhorn! There is a member on the board with a 1968 big block short wheelbase fleetside truck as well.

Re: how rare are the 68 big block trucks?

Being the first year of production for a big block pickup,a`68 big block would be the lowest number.Overall production increased alot with each year, too.
