Relocated Fuel Cell

So I am installing a fuel cell under the bed, does this mean I need to have an external safety kill switch sticking out the back?

Re: Relocated Fuel Cell

I believe the kill switch is required with battary relocation only .

Re: Relocated Fuel Cell

here's where i relocated my battery. i was told that i can put vasaline or something on the battery and the stainless box, then after i race it i just wipe it off. I put it on the outside of the frame so when i get my stainless tank i won't have to move anything.

Re: Relocated Fuel Cell

Ya, was it fine through tech? So I don't need a kill switch until I move the battery?

it's behind the tire which is safer incase of a leak. Plus i didn't want it inside the bed because i didn't want to drill a hole for a shut off switch through my bed side or tailgate. The vaseline helps with making it easier to clean. I would think you could have more problems through tech with the battery in the stock location because of a leak being right infront of the front tire. But i never had a problem with either.
