3/5 drop w/22" s

Anyone here running 22" wheels? I really dont want to lower my crew cab more than 4" and was curious how it would look with 22" wheels. I found some pretty cool wheels finally but dont want it look "Donk", overall tire diameter would be 30.4" which is just shorter than the stock tire.

No pics for you, but an opinion instead. I think they will look just fine on a slightly lowered truck. They would look even better on a lifted truck...

I think they should look good too, I have to get the spindles installed so I can measure and make sure they fit before I can order them. As far as a lifted truck, thats what I really wanted but 4*4 crews in good shape and in my price range were impossible to find. I'm not a fan of lifting a truck with no front driveshaft here, a lifted truck stuck in snow w/no 4wd looks kind of funny ha

Re: 3/5 drop w/22" s

are you wanting crew cabs with dual rear wheels or a single rear wheeled pictures
heres my 88 dually with 22's and a 4/4 drop

also a static dropped dually and srw 1T & 3/4T your rear bolt in drops are 2" shackle or hanger 4"shackle and hanger together and a flip is 8" and thats because of the size of rearend housing and the spring pack

That truck looks great, what size are those tires? My truck will be a dd and I want to stay away from really short sidewallls. Im going to pull the overload leaf in the back along with the shackle and hanger.

Re: 3/5 drop w/22" s

yea I pulled the over loads off because they only cleared the bed by Like a 1/4" so once you put some weight in it it was hitting

my tire size is 265/35/22

So you didnt get any additional drop from removing your overloads? I was thinking about thaking those and a leaf or two and maybe adding a set of helper bags.

What is the overall diameter of your tire? I was looking at 265-45-22 seems like they should have about 4" of sidewall. Thanks for all the info

Re: 3/5 drop w/22" s

those were 265/35s front and 285/35s rear. i drove the blazer everywhere. i drove it to work on a regular basis, at the time that was a 250 mile one way trip on monday morning, back and forth to work from my trailer all week, then 250 miles back home on friday night. most of that down I-40 even, which is one of the roughest roads around in my opinion
