Re: I parked on a car =-)
I am the punctuation police today.
I'm not 11, and I'm not typing this on my phone either. I went to school, I hated the typing class I was forced to take. I was also enrolled in several english classes. Not that my spelling is perfect or my grammar perfect... But, proper spelling, grammer and punctuation makes reading and understanding much easier and much more likely to be read and understood by others. Everyone is asking questions and giving technical advice, you would think that clear and concise would be important. But slang is cool when im hangen out wit m bras adn my hous slippers tilt en a colt or wit som reef playne mi xgam Mick Last edited by MickMc; 02-09-2009 at 01:11 PM. |

I'll put down my sensitive meter.
I did park my 40 inch Hawgs on the hood of some poor guys escort a few years ago. I think he was more concerned about the receiver hitch that was staring at him almost thru the front windshield. Mick |

the purpose in my mind is NOT to inflict unneeded damage to unattentative female drivers..
it i in fact to balance out our lack of supporting natrual selection.. if i ever get hit in an accident and head "i diddnt see him".. i swear ill die laughing

Re: I parked on a car =-)
It seems the bigger the rig,the easier they hit you...go figure.
I had a guy in a Porche 911 pull up tight behind me where he was in the crosswalk.I decided I didn`t want to wait for the train to load/unload and I just needed to get to the post office across the track. So,I started backing up to pull over into the station parking lot.I barely moved and hear trumpet horns then bump! I get out and there`s a fancy little Porche all squeezed up under my truck.I got off in court. The guy had no business blocking the crosswalk, was already partially under my truck before I moved(took advantage of my height),and I used all three mirrors and he wasn`t in view.I asked the judge how that could be unsafe backing?I had to bang out my diff cover. He had a dented fender and hood."Sorry about your luck there Speedy."

Re: I parked on a car =-)
I've seen cars under the back wheels of some of the big rig rockets around here, always makes a guy laugh!
My trucks are not quite that tall that they go right under. The one car wound up with a perfect square punched out of her front bumper / bumper support from my hitch receiver (no hitch in it, no damage to my truck), and another absolutely obliterated his front end when he ate my big step bumper square dead center, again, no damage to my truck at all

When I was in high school I entertained my friends by backing over an MG-B with my jacked my 60 Impala in the A&W parking lot. I bought a grill and hood, dented my gas tank.

The same thing just happend to my sister in-law tonight. Same situation, the light was green but the truck in front of her didn't go and her car ended up under the truck. nobody got hurt but she got two holes through her hood from the shackels and had to get towed home.

Re: I parked on a car =-)
I`ve been in trucks that weren`t even lifted and had people just get drawn to the bumper or hitch.I had yellow stripes on a 4x6 (edgeways) rear bumper and a drop hich made with tapered diamond plate up to the bumper.I had to keep painting the drop hitch.Darn cars kept scraping the paint off when they decided to mash up thier cars on it.
It sure is classic...BAM!!!...go to back of truck, look at connected vehicles, and say,"Darn, shame about your car".That`s when they say,"It doesn`t even look like your truck is hurt."And you reply,"Hmmm,I think you`re right."
