1/2 ton suspension

I got lucky today. I picked up a 1/2 ton axle and the full stront suspension.
What is the standard gearing in the axle?

whats it out of? if I had to guess, I would say 3.73, but it depends on alot of things, engine, trans combo being the biggest question

The best thing to do since it's out, is to pull the cover (really ought to change the oil anyway, and new gasket) and look at the numbers, or just count the teeth on the ring and the pinion and divide them. That'll tell you for sure.
