Lead based paint?
I was reading another thread and they mentioned that in the older vehicles that the paint had lead in it. My '67 has the original black paint on it. Does anyone know if it indeed does have lead in it, and if so, how hazardous is it to sand, and what precautions should you take when you do sand it? I have done a little sanding on it in spots, without much protection, but now I'm starting to wonder.
