72 Truck brake lines (Inline Tube)

We ordered the complete stainless brake line set from Inline Tube for our 72 K10. Now we are having trouble fitting the lines into place. Does anyone have a diagram/schematic or, even better, pictures of how the brake lines run? Any pictures would be of great assistance.

Re: 72 Truck brake lines (Inline Tube)

Thanks for the reply, however it does not jive at all with the inline tube lines. I tried using the LMC catalog already and it really is not even close. Inline swears that they sent the right lines however at this point I am not so sure. If any of you guys with a 67-72 4WD has pics of your brake lines, I would appreciate seeing them. Thanks

Re: 72 Truck brake lines (Inline Tube)

There was a post here recently where a board member said inline tube sent him the wrong ones, and even worse, charged him a re-stocking fee. I ll look for the post...

In 72 the rear brake lines were routed different that the other years. Slight difference only but nobody seem to carry the 72 ones or even know there is a difference. I might have a pic.

Click on my screen name, click public profile, click on statistics. There is a post there called Camo Truck progress. If you scroll through the thread you will see pics of all the brake lines. Brakes, fuel supply and return and vent lines. I forgot who i bought my lines form but they fit perfect.

Good luck.

72swbcamo: Thanks for the info and the pics! That was exactly what I needed to fit the brake line segments into the frame. Nice build by the way!!!
