Project "Sonic 62"

I know crazy project name!! This project is going to be for my little boy, he loves Sonic the Hedgehog! He also loves to cruise in my ratty projects.
Plans are to z the frame, do a step notch and bag it. Paint will be primer with the Sonic garage painted on the door. It will have steelies and whitewalls. I have a 350/350 combo laying around for the drivetrain.
Hopefully this will be the project that my 7 year old will enjoy.

Welcome to the forums from Kansas City, KS. Your son is lucky and grateful...I am sure. Good luck with your father/son project and keep the photos rolling in.

Welcome to the board!

Be sure to get your son out in the garage with you when you work on it. Not only will he learn how it's done, but it will be something he'll always remember......a little father/son quality time

Re: Project "Sonic 62"

Thanks for the welcome! I hope he and I will be able to make a bunch of the local cruise in's. He rode along on his first burnout this past summer!

He had a ball. I had a Harley, but he hated it. He likes the old car, so I figure the truck will be a good driver.
The 62 is in disassembley now. I will post pics later!
