What can I do?

Hey guys, i have been workin on my 79 trying to get the tailgate done and the caddy lights done. but now im at a bend in the road to completion. when i did my tail light fillers and tailgate, the holes for the caddy lights got smaller. now how can i make it bigger with out cutting it again? i was thinkin getting a 2x4 and use it to wedge it in the hole and beat it to make it bigger to clear the caddy lights. any ideas?

Whatever can't get fixed with a hammer, a roll of duct tape, a clothes hanger, a tube of glue, and a case of beer, can wait until tomorrow.

Re: What can I do?

Don't use a 2x4. It will only distort the quarter. Get a grinder in there and just take a little bit off. Don't let it heat up to much and take your time.
