Re: Mooneyes Ramp Truck - Taken In 1975

Yeah I was pretty stoked when I found this, as I raced a Turbo VW back in the early to mid 1980's. Best of both worlds for me, VW and Chevy! Anyone else got more on this deal?

No, I have tons of pics of 67-72 ramp trucks since I have one, but I've never seen nor heard of the Mooneyes rig before.

Re: Mooneyes Ramp Truck - Taken In 1975

When Longhorn Man was in LA he took pics from visiting Moon`s shop. That color picture looks like a picture he took.Maybe it`s taken parked in the same spot by someone else.Anyway...it`s sure a cool thing to share. How about thost full moons over the front Budd wheels?I guess they really help @ over 100 mph.

Its pretty much always in the same spot. Mooneyes is a mile from my house. they have a few rides that stay parked in the lot 24/7.

So,did going to California make you want to shave your head?If I go to California will I come home and shave my head?Is there some connection between Moon and hairless heads?Full moon head?I`m confused.

ps:I have low black Chucks(but, still some hair).
