My Blazer showed up today

My friend was able to deliver my new Blazer today, along with the new Engine,...... I was told that the engine was gone (not Running) when I bought it. But anyway when it got here and my friend left I hooked up a battery charger to and and let it charge......went out and it turned right over and started. YEA!!!!!! but it has some noise in the bottom ...sounds like flex plate or tork convertor......it checked the tranmission and It wasnt showing fluid. I put a quart and a half of fluid in it and it still doesnt show.
so tomorrow ill get more fluid and take off the inspection cover and see where im at with it......

the gloves look like they came right from GM. In the other picture the PO had a heavy duty speaker wire going from the neg. side of the battery to the antenna, anyone know why anyone would do this

Cool man........be nice if you get it going without swapping the engine. Or at least drive it around for awhile to see whats up.

I dont know about that antenna thing....testing a tin-foil hat?

Ive done some inspecting yesterday and today, and just my luck it wont be easy for me, Ill need to replace the engine, its a rod knocking.... thats not all Ive found the whole cooling system is full of rust so bad that the hose to the resivor was clogged full, So while its apart Ill flush the radiator...maybe Replace it along with the heater core. I also have to replace the front tranny seal its leaking like a sive.....easy with the engine out, I would have done it anyway. Anyone Know what tranny it is, its 4 wheel drive.
also the brake light is on along with the abs anti lock light, I have no Idea why but ill get into that next.....its gonna be a slow go as I have COPD and have a hard time breathing and I have to do it in my yard on the grass.....but slowly and surely ill get er done

i might be wrong but i think he might have done the speaker wire thing for the ground to get rid of engine distorion sound out of the speakers. i know when i put systems in its hard to find a really good ground so no engine feed back will come through.thats the only thing i can think of why he might do it
