This gate is super nice. The original handle was removed and used on a chevy NOS gate a long time ago. It has a white handle in it now. The back side has near perfect paint too!!! I dont really want to ship this. $500.00

LOL...No, this one has never made it to the wall. I have several that I dont have room for. I have thought about sell a few that are stored away, but I just dont want to. I thought I would throw this one out there and just see if it sells. The dealer name on this gate is still in business. I actually bought my '03 GMC there!!!

Mike, are you being sarcastic? If you aren't, a take-off tailgate is one that was only on the truck for a little time, sometimes even a day after the truck was bought. People would take them off to put camper shells and such on their trucks and these often sat inside these original owners houses or barns and have stayed there for 30 + years.

71blksuper4x4. I was just wanting to see what others might think it means. I have noticed that thru the years definitions seem to change. To some it might mean just a tailgate taken off a truck. You are right on in my opinion. Thanks.
