tubeing question
what kind, and size of tubing would i need to build a cross brace with some cool bends and stuff in it so i can get my notch finished up on my burb? and what is the average going rate cost of it for about 10 feet? any help will be greatly appreciated.

1.75x.120 would be pretty standard.
check out dezertrangers, there are a ton of guys in your area that could probably hook ya up with the tube and a couple bends.

sometimes smaller pieces like what you require are available at recyclers or salvage yards// or check yellow pages for steel or ask at your local welding supply shop for a place in the area

i use a lot of 1.5" .120 wall tubing and around here it's anywhere from $2.50/ft to $4/ft for the steel. the one fab shop i talked to about making some bends for me before i got my ownbender said he would charge me $20/bend plus $2/ft for the steel used. hope that helps
