Just wanted to know if anyone has used http://www.certifit.com/ . They are here in town and i would like to replace the inner fenders. For the price and them being here sounds good to me but i don't want to buy them if they wont last.
Thanks Ralph

Re: Certifit Question
We sell mainly TriPlus body panels. In our opinion they are the best panels made for these trucks, with the exception of Mar-K. However we will use, sell and we recommend to our customers to use the inner fenders from certifit. They do not fit any worse than any others. In fact I am not sure how many companies repop them. I know a guy with a 1069 c1o that cost him over $50K to build and he used them and they look fine. You can't beat the price.

Re: Certifit Question
they are also known as SORTA-FIT. doors, fenders, hoods, ect.... your taking a chance. They are a lot thinner metal. and sometimes they look like a chinaman beat them out with a rock!

Re: Certifit Question
As far as the inner fenders go they are 19 guage where the factory was a little thicker (17ga +/-) They look good and usually pretty free of defects. I've seen even Triplus with defects. We have a set right now from Certifit in the shop we are using. ALot of their stuff is made buy Gordon but I think they buy from multiple companies cause you can get a differant brand for the same part. We do not purchase very much from them. But the inner fenders are Ok. ALot of their parts are Junk though. They will let you open the boxes up and look at the parts.
