Question I know this is wore out but, back of hood up

I know this is pretty common..but the back of my brand new cowl hood is sticking up...only on the driver side though. I am sure it is just the hinge but I was wondering if anyone knew a secret, it rubs a little when closing/closed. Thanks guys!!

This is the best pic I have of it, hard to see I know. *shrug*

Talking

Loosen the hinge to fender bolts and rotate the hinge position, so that the back of the hinge is down more and the front of the hinge is up. Sometimes this will move the hood rearward, so check your gap so that you don't get binding between the hood and cowl screen.

Hmmm, sounds like your truck is going to blow up. I can take it off your hands if you'd like. Nice truck!

The trick to getting the rear of the hood down is to use the hood it'self as the lever to get the hinges down in back. with the hinges loose one guy pushes the hood up beyond it's normal open rest position while another person snugs down the hinge bolts. "Mr. Obvious" suggests you do this carefully and slowly to avoid chipping the paint, bending the new hood, etc. Huck
