WTB;69-72 chevy rust free

Ok here is the deal..I am in florida on vacation,I will be going back to MN next Sunday March 1st...I am looking for a rust free truck to bring back home...Ideally I would want a 69-72 chevy 3/4 4x4,does not have to run or even have engine...I drove my Tahoe down to florida,so obviously I am driving back home....Wanted 69-72 chevy rust free truck.......Not looking to clean up junk...willing to spend 2k...please post here first...pics,pics,pics

Don't know that you are going to find a rust free truck in FL (I spent 11 years there looking......). I've got one here in Albuquereque that's almost rust free......

Found a real good guy in ND..He has 3 72 trucks with minimal rust..2k would take any one of them,they roll but not good drivers..brakes front end parts the usual..just looking for the bodies..I knew someone could think outside the box..thanks for the great insight.......

Jeremy, I doubt if you will find any rust free 3/4 ton 4x4s for 2k around here (Georgia)because there is alot of people who snatch them up. Now you might find a slightly rusted 1/2 ton 2wd lwb in the 2k-3k range. There is a few of them floating around. The only one that pops into my mind is a 67 custom camper 20 that I bought last month it needs a driver side outer rocker but I hav'nt found any dents in it anywhere or any other rust through I'd let it go for 2k and would probably regret it as soon as you left with it because the rust free ones are few and far between. Another problem you will run into is Titles they don't require them on the older stuff and will actually talk you out of getting them at the tag office because they cost a extra 20 bucks most common people don't even get them anymore. I'm located in Tallahassee. Both are fairly rust free (mostly surface rust). Rollers with no engine/trans. One has resto started (and original owner) and the other would probably be the donor truck.

Now we are talking,good follow ups,NEED CABS AND BOXES,,I really do not need the rest of the trucks..I have 3 3/4 4x4s that I have acquired this past year,from $1100-$1900,,,good old farm trucks,,but all need a lot of rust repair.willing to talk about ideas though..!!!..thanks JZ

i have a 69 half ton longbed rust free roller and also a rust free long bed just north of chicago.the cab has small amount of rust on the rockers but still solid.have clear arizona title and lots of other parts.also have a 70 longbed with untouched 402 big blockthat runs but brakes and body are bad,has tilt,bucket seats,posi,and ac.let me know if interested.

Thanks,.,. to all who have responded with interest and advice(help)...My uncle of 59 years lost his battle with cancer,so my vacation will be cut short..I will be leaving FL tomorrow to get back to MN to be with family..Thanks again to all who have offered suggestions....JZ ......
