Cowl trash guards???

So I found a set of these "cowl vent trash guards" on a parts truck of mine. they are in real good shape and I kinda like the idea of using them on my blazer. I have never seen any on a truck before. Are they purely an aftermarket piece or was there something similar from the factory that am just not familiar with???

Re: Cowl trash guards???

My burb didn't originally have em, but I put in a set that I got from some parts house. After diggin out a ton of garbage from the vents, I thought it was a good idea to stick em in.

If you found them in a parts truck then heck yea there worth it. Get those things installed. I don't think they were any kind of factory install though.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I put the stainless ones on my show truck. They look great! Really change the way it looks. I was surprised.
