I think that is for a th350. All the th400 I have seen have a narrower pivot bracket and a shift rod that has a different bend.

Small block w/th400 also used the above pictured setup, only Bbc/th400 used the other setup due to the more aft position of motor & trans. Here's a pic to help Id for those shopping for the correct setup for their application.

Thanks for the info, I have taken apart 1/2 doz bb/th400 trucks and never thought about it being a BB difference rather than a 400/350.

Is is a true statement that this piece is the same on all linkages>

No problem, to the best of my knowledge all C10/20/30 with TH350/400 used the same piece that you marked with an arrow, the K10/20 trucks were different. While on the subject of linkage differences, here is another pic.
