LT1 Accessories

Well, I found out my LT1 wont fit in my frame with the Impala SS bracket for the accessories. The A/C wont clear the frame. Does anyone know if it will fit with the F-Body accessory bracket? Not wanting to relocate compressor if possible. Unless I can find a good deal on a 'Vette accessory bracket and accessories. Thanks in advance.

Re: LT1 Accessories

Accessories and brackets are totallt different for a LT1 vs. a Gen1 350. There is no waterpump pulley on a LT1. It runs off the camshaft, as well as the distributor.

Re: LT1 Accessories

Dont know if a LT1 bracket would work but Ill be interested to hear.

Is there any differance between the impala and f-body brackets? Alot of chevy stuff like that is all interchangeable.

Just to add to the differances the LT1's have a reverse flow coolant system as well.
