Removing Windshield Wipers
I can't seem to do it, i removed the little clip that was at the very bottom, but it still won't budge. Are they screwed on? Are there more clips? or are they just rusted on there and need a little more force?
Thanx, D!m ------------------ BlueStreak 69 Chevy C10 - (Under Construction) pos_8@hotmail.com

take a screw driver (flat head) and put it inbetween the wiper arm and cowl at the base of the wiper arm and twist the screw driver. The arms should pop right off! If you have good paint rap a rag around the screw driver first!

might just be a little tight... you could put some duct tape on the base to avoid scratches and then pull straight off with pliers.... or use a wood block for leverage with a flat screwdriver to pry around the base til it popped off... these methods have worked well for me.. important thing is to pull straight and not get off angle...

Go to napa and buy the wiper tool for about $6.00. It works great and doen't hurt the paint!

I have found that a claw hammer works really good. You put a rag inbetween the hammer and the truck and just pull on the opposite side of the wiper blade. It is free too unless you don't have a claw hammer.
